Doctor’s Day (Friday Feb 8) Postponed Due to Weather
Due to the forecasted weather for tomorrow we have decided to postpone Doctor’s Day. As soon as a date is set we will send out new information.
In conjunction with CSMS and other societies we had over 100 physicians registered for tomorrow so we look forward to your continued support on the new date.

Cocktails @ Congress 2012

DOCTOR’S DAY 2012
On Wednesday, March 14th several Chapter members joined CSMS and MGMA members at the Capitol to make our voices heard on several key issues that the legislature was considering this session.
The Chapter, once again the recipient of a grant from the ACS Board of Governors co-sponsored Doctors’ Day. The 2012 session included a Legislative Advocacy Breakfast with Kim Ross which prepared members for their legislative meetings and provided key advice on how to work effectively as a grassroots advocate for change in your community.
The breakfast session was followed by an interactive discussion with several prominent lawmakers, including Gov. Dannel Malloy and then a luncheon at noon. After lunch, meetings were held with individual legislators to discuss several issues, key among them the proposed changes to the Certificate of Merit laws.
We thank all of you who made the time to attend Doctor’s Day. Your efforts definitely paid off as we saw several of our objectives achieved this session.
