Each quarter the Collaborative hosts a meeting where members gather to receive updates on NSQIP, hear presentations from peers and guest lecturers and share best practices. Participation in the Collaborative is open to all hospitals in the state of Connecticut.

We are proud to report that 100% of the hospitals in Connecticut are actively participating in quarterly CtSQC meetings. In addition, as of 4/30/2012, nine Connecticut hospitals are using the National Surgical Quality Improvement Program database from the American College of Surgeons (NSQIP): Bridgeport Hospital, Danbury Hospital, Hospital of Saint Raphael, Middlesex Hospital, Norwalk Hospital, Saint Francis Hospital, Saint Mary’s Hospital, Stamford Hospital and Yale-New Haven Hospital.

The CtSQC is an open form for Connecticut hospitals to learn about quality improvement and the best practices being developed and implemented by their peers. Utilization of the NSQIP tool is not a requirement to join the Collaborative or participate in meetings.

If you would like to learn more about the meetings please contact Christopher Tasik, Executive Director at
